Hugo Burge, Chairman & Co-Founder

Hugo Burge is an internet entrepreneur and new media consultant with a fascinating background (just for the record he didn't say that). He was recently named The British Travel Industry Hall of Fame 2008 Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Hugo is a Cambridge University graduate and a member of the Royal Geographical Society, but these days his interests are mostly about saving money on the web. After jointly buying Cheapflights off the founder in March 2000 he has spent the last 8 years building up the Company from a team of 3 with his business partner David Soskin

In 2003 he flew over the pond from the muddy (but charming) little islands known as the United Kingdom and founded Cheapflights.com in the US market with an office in Boston. Cheapflights is a site dedicated to helping flyers make good purchasing decisions and, obviously, to save as much money as possible. Under Hugo's guidance, Cheapflights.com has grown into one of the most recognized travel-related sites on the web. In 2007, Hugo joined forces with David Soskin to launch HOWZAT media, an Internet investment fund. Not long after and with many sleepless nights CheapToday.com was brought into the world. Why expand out of travel? Well, he noticed 20% of Americans have passports but 100% have wallets...

Christopher Hill, Chief Executive Officer

Chris Hill is the CEO and President of CheapToday. Over the last 20 years, Chris has established and grown successful digital media companies within fast growth industries. In the 1990’s, Chris started the consumer division of IDD and launched a number of innovative services including Barron's Online and Tradeline International, leading to the successful acquisition of IDD by Dow Jones & Co. In 1998, Chris was a founding team member and became President and CEO of OneCore Financial Network, a nationwide provider of integrated online financial services, which grew from zero to over $100 million in assets under management. Chris has also served as General Manager of Quote.com, a division of Lycos that achieved significant growth under his leadership and was acquired by Interactive Data Corp, Chief Operating Officer & VP of Marketing of DirectoryM, a leading online advertising network, and as SVP Marketing & Product Management of My Perfect Gig, an innovative online recruitment service.

Milenko Beslic, Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder

Milenko Beslic is CTO and Co-founder of CheapToday.com. His experience is impressive, with over 18 years working with technology startups and other projects. As if he weren't busy enough, in addition to holding senior positions in telecom and web development enterprises, Milenko also ran his own real estate company. In 2003, he was one of the most important players on the Cheapflights.com start-up team. Under Milenko's technical guidance, Cheapflights.com grew from zero to more than 3 million monthly visitors. Milenko has a rare combination of tech savvy and sharp business acumen.

Jeff Lippincott, Vice President of Business Development

Jeff is the Vice President of Business Development for CheapToday. Over the past sixteen years Jeff has been actively involved in starting, growing, selling, acquiring and consulting for entrepreneurial ventures. In 1994, Jeff co-founded GlobaLearn, Inc., an award-winning Internet-based education company. In 1999, he served as Director of Business Development at MoveCentral, Inc., a two time member of the Inc. 500 List, where he played an integral role in its growth and eventual sale to Monster.com. At Monster.com he served as Direct of Global Business Alliances forging partnerships and implementing international expansion. He then co-founded Boston Post Partners in 2002, a fundless equity firm, which raised and invested $16 million dollars to acquire and operate middle market companies. Jeff graduated from Ithaca College, cum laude, in 1990 and received an MBA from Boston University School of Management in 1999.

Sarah Skerrett, Managing Editor

Sarah Skerrett is the Managing Editor of CheapToday. After working in book and magazine publishing for five years, Sarah became a full-time freelance writer and editor. Her work has included freelance editing and project management, professional resume writing with cbResume/Careerbuilder, trade articles for Real Estate & Construction Reviews magazine and blogging for a variety of lifestyle sites. She joined CheapToday in 2008 and oversees a team of bargain-hunting shoppers while maintaining the growing shopping network's editorial direction.

David Soskin, Director

David Soskin is Chairman of Swapit.co.uk and Vice Chairman of mySupermarket.co.uk (the UK's leading grocery price comparison site). David served as CEO of flight price comparison site Cheapflights from 2000 to 2008 and oversaw its extraordinary growth from a London attic to an international media business. For his success at his previous start-up, Asquith Court Schools, he was named in 1995 as one of Europe's 500 Most Dynamic Entrepreneurs. David is a graduate of the Harvard Business School, where he was a Harkness Fellow, and of Oxford University where he took a First Class Honors degree in Modern History. Prior to Cheapflights, David was Head of the Global Media Group at ABN AMRO. David and Hugo Burge formed HOWZAT media in 2007 to invest in early stage internet media Companies.
